Love the info about the animals and the videos are great. The cams, however, are not so good. The ones that work have such poor quality you cant see anything. One doesnt load at all. And the panda cams wont play-all you get is a still picture. I would have rated it a 5 if there were more cams, as well as cams that actually worked and you can actually see something!

Ive been to the National Zoo and the zoo is excellent. I love the zoo, but this app is crap. How do I get my $1.99 back? The app has already been deleted from my iPhone.

None of the cams work.

Cams dont. They tell you to buy the app to watch the cam on iPad but the cams dont work.

Nothing on this app works. It open but does nothin else. Do not buy this app!!!!!!

I said in my original review (below) that I would update it if the cameras started working. As of today they seem to be working well, so I update from one star to three stars. If they continue working for the next week or two I will update again and give a higher rating. When I pay for an app I expect it to work. This one does not. I bought it mainly to watch the new panda cub but have been 100% unsuccessful in the 24 hours Ive owned the program. None of the cams work, not just the panda cam. The cameras do work on my PC, so it must just be this Apple app. Ill keep trying, and when and if it ever works I will alter this review.

The panda cams work now! Went from one star to five. Also love the photo booth but I cant text the images to people. Still worth it just to see the pandas live.

This new version is fantastic and fun. Cams are working great for me. Try the panda photo feature.

My family really enjoys this app. My daughter absolutely loves watching the videos of the panda bears (which we usually watch before she goes to sleep each night). She asks to read about the different animals and especially likes putting pictures of our family in the "Zooify yourself" portion of the app. Lots of cool features and great content make this app a "must"!

The cameras not working actually validated for me that the camera was in fact live!! So im glad they are working now and that they are definitely live cameras. This app is obviously great for the in-zoo experience - but even more importantly, in-home, it is a great learning tool and is entertaining. I have even recommended to teachers to use this app in the classroom for the Animals A-Z tab as well as the Panda cam - and of course, the Zooify Yourself tool!

There is so much stuff to do and see in this app! The fact that you get a GPS zoo map, info on hundreds of animals, live animal cams (which appear to be working better), and extra fun stuff like the puzzles for less than the price of a paper zoo map is fantastic. Only minor complaint would be that the quality on the tiger and lion cams isnt as crisp as it is for the pandas.

The panda cam is totally worth it, it looks great on my ipad. Not sure whats going on with tiger den and golden tamarin cams, hope theyll fix that. Also maybe add more info on actual animals they have versus just characteristics of the type of animal. Also would like project details of things theyre doing at the zoo upcoming, in progress and completed.

The website tells you to download this app to watch additional cams, but they arent on this app! And of the few cams they do have in the app, the only one working was the one we could view before buying the app. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. Grrr.

Nice to have the map readily accessible. The panda cam works, someone is constantly watching it, it seems to zoom in and out as the panda and cub are moving around.

I downloaded this to my iPad and have been happily watching the panda and her cub. Awesome app. Works perfectly. 5 stars!

I love this app but my absolute favorite exhibit in the zoo is the Amazonia exhibit I live 17 hours away from Washington D.C. In florida and have only been able to see your amazing fish a few times and I have to go on the computer to watch the Amazonia webcam the reason I bought the app is so I could watch the Amazonia fish on my phone and was seriously disappointed when I found out the web cam isnt on it

You got the panda cams to work. Now make everything else work.

Love the pandas - just downloaded this app. WONDERFUL!!

As a local, its great to know whats going on at the zoo today so my family and I can drop in when we know something were interested in is happening. Feature/Content Request: I wish in the "about animal x" the content would talk about the National Zoos animals. Like all of the #cubwatch info would be great in context of the animals. Or "we have three grey wolves. They are X, Y and Z. Y is the alpha of the pack."
